Upon entering the city of El Jadida, you'll be either greeted or encouraged to meet Abdelouafi, the jolly owner of this restaurant which bears a resemblance to a traditional French inn. For eighteen years, Ali Baba has been an institution in El Jadida. Abdelouafi makes his rounds at the market every morning to offer his guests the freshest fish, or poisson and a menu which are purchased daily changes according to what the fishermen brings to port.
